Disclaimers
All of the stories in this section are some variety of fan fiction. As such, they could be classified (in the US anyway) as ' derivative works'. The legality of fan fiction as a creative medium has yet to be encumbered by any explicit copyright laws or precedent (Meaning there are no known examples of fan fiction writers being taken to court.)
As far as I know, all of the fan fiction posted here is in fandoms where the IP (Intellectual Property) owners/creators do not object to the creation of fan fiction related to their works. As a courtesy/acknowledgement of the source of borrowed characters, situations, and locations I've tried to list them all here, although most of the stories already include disclaimers. Each disclaimer is necessarily brief and hopefully current. Listing every entity who owns part of some IP is a task only a copyright lawyer could complete and still keep their sanity.
