She was with Giles for the day. She'd wandered into the local bake shop while waiting for him to finish talking with an old friend. It had been hours since breakfast and lunch seemed far away. She didn't think Giles would begrudge her a small snack.

While she gazed in indecision at the sugary baked goods an stylishly dressed woman with legs that seemed to go on forever stepped up to the counter.

"The usual Mrs. Peel ?"

Sighing in disappointment, Willow watched as the remaining macaroons were placed in a box and handed over.

"Giles? What's that?" Buffy pointed towards a small figure in a pointed red hat leaning against a tombstone.

Willow peeked around his shoulder and squeaked "Is it dangerous? Do you think it's a sign of another apocalypse?"

"Don't gnomes wear pointed hats like that?" Anya chattered. "Xander! Let's leave! Gnomes are evil. They make women frigid. I like orgasms!"

Xander blushed. "Anya!" he protested as she tried to drag him away.

"That's not true!" Tara exclaimed. "Willow and I feed them and don't have problems like that."
