Buffy paused, briefly, in her well deserved stomping from her car to her house, to give the one of the Mr. Berry's a nod in greeting. From his sympathetic smile she could guess that he'd already heard about Sue's latest antics from Rachel. She could understand where Sue was coming from, constantly pushing her Cheerios, but Rachel wasn't really one of them. The sixteen year old was certainly as focused as the others but her goal was very different. Turning her into a Sue-minion wasn't going to happen. Putting her in a Cheerios uniform wasn't going to do it.

The porch vibrated under her feet as she stomped across it, only pausing briefly to open the door, resisting the urge to knock it down.

"Hey Buff!" Kennedy said loudly from the living room. Buffy grunted in response and continued on her trajectory. Refereeing a shouting match between Sue and Schuester hadn't left her any time to take a shower and she could still feel the grit from the obstacle course.

Wandering into the living room, Buffy plopped down onto the loveseat across from Kennedy.

"What are you doing," she asked Kennedy, who was giggling, her attention focused on the laptop in front of her.

"Reading," Kennedy said, looking up briefly.

Not used to being ignored, even by her housemate, Buffy said, "Reading what?"

"Fan fiction," Kennedy said.

"Fan what?"

"Stories that fans write about their favorite people or characters in their favorite tv shows," Kennedy said.

"Oh," Buffy mumbled.

"You're in this one," Kennedy said, giggling again.

"I'm what?"

"Yup! Some of your fangirls are having a fic-off with some of Xander's groupies," Kennedy said.

"Do I want to know what that means?" Buffy asked.

"Maybe," Kennedy said. "There are some really funny stories this time."

"This time?" Buffy stared at her. "Who's idea was this?"

"Willow's" she said. "Andrew got into an argument with Dawn last year after he wrote a Super-Xander story and published it in his Xander newsletter {The Xander Report}. Willow suggested she write her own version and the idea caught on."

"Why didn't I hear about this?" Buffy asked. "Wait! Andrew has a newsletter about Xander?"

"It's the best way to keep up with Xander," Kennedy said. "At least that's what Willow says. He's the biggest Xander fan in the Council."

"Don't you mean Willow?"
