The Two - Timeline

Timeline / Ongoing plot

This is only for the parts I've written so far and have posted here. Just for those who might get lost in the timeline (like myself). It's not in-depth. That's what the story is for.

The characters

B = Buffy from Buffyverse
W = Willow from Buffyverse
D = Dawn from Buffyverse
T = Tara from Buffyverse


B-a = AU Buffy (Beth (Yes, I do know that in the Buffyverse Buffy isn't a nickname for Elizabeth. It's a writer's crutch. Sorry. I needed to do it this way.)
D-a = AU Dawn the Vampire Slayer
W-a = AU Willow
T-a = AU Tara


M = Madeline (An OC - she owns the bookshop)
A = Tony (An OC - Who says an Italian can't own a blues bar?)

Chapter I

Part I - I don't think we're in Kansas anymore

• Time - day 1 - Early morning - before dawn (Monday)
  • Buffy suddenly wakes up in what appears to be her bedroom in her old home on 1630 Revollo Drive
  • It feels more like her mother's room than her own. She manages to get out of the room without waking up the person sleeping there.
  • She explores the house. Gets the feeling that whomever lives in the room that would have been her sister's is a slayer
  • She decides to wait outside and meets the current slayer who looks like a tougher version of her sister Dawn

Part II - Getting down to business

• Time - day 1 - still early morning
  • Buffy checks out the other slayer and isn't too happy
  • Before Buffy can say much, five vampires show up, obviously following/waiting for Dawn-a
  • Buffy tries to scare them away but it doesn't work.
  • Buffy kills 4 vampires, D-a kills 1
  • Buffy tells Dawn-a she'll talk with her later and leaves

Part III - Getting comfortable

• Buffy - Day 1 - daytime
  • Buffy takes care of some important stuff so she can fit into this AU
    • Exchanges some of her limited supply of gold for local currency
    • transportation (buys old motorcycle)
    • identification (from a forger in LA)
  • Buffy finds a room for the night after trip to LA.
    • Falls asleep in motel room
• Dawn - Day 1 - morning/lunch
  • Dawn-a discusses Buffy with her Wiccan Guide (Willow-a). (most of part) (Dawn-a thinks Buffy looks sort of like her sister Beth)
• Dawn - Day 1 - afternoon/evening
  • After school Dawn-a at Coven house
  • Dinner with Beth, homework, a few hours sleep

Part IV - Conversations with slayers

• Time - Day 1 - night/Day 2 - early morning
  • Buffy meets Dawn-a in a cemetery, chats for a minute, find out Dawn-a's guide is this AU's equivalent to Willow.
  • Buffy secretly follows her home and stakes some vampires secretly following her.
• Time - Day 2 - day - morning
  • Buffy gets a couple more hours sleep, follows Dawn-a to school (to find out where it is)
  • Buffy finds an apartment (Loft above a second hand bookstore on Main St., Sunnydale)
• Time - Day 2 - afternoon
  • Buffy drops in on Willow-a right after lunch, invites her out for coffee after school

Part V - Coffee and two wiccans to go

• Time - Day 2 - afternoon
  • Buffy goes clothes shopping.
• Time - Day 2 - Evening
  • Meets Willow-a (who brings along a friend (Tara-a) and leaves an annoyed Dawn-a at home ) for coffee
    • Buffy learns something about this dimensions' slayers that surprises her
    • Buffy warns them an apocalypse is headed their way.

Part VI - Singing the blues at the poetry slam

• Time - Day 2 - Evening cont.
  • The three women walk to the Coven house and talk.
  • Buffy gets a tour of the coven's house
  • Willow-a and Tara-a discuss Buffy
  • Buffy explores the local bars while looking for the local demon hangouts
  • She stops for a drink at the local blues bar
• Time - Day 3 - (Wednesday)
  • Slacker Buffy goes job hunting...
    • After a day of nothing she finds one that allows her to 'lay low' when she least expects it at the bookshop she now lives above.

Chapter II

Part VII - Smoothing the edges

• Time - Day 10 (A week after Part 6) (Wednesday)
  • Buffy settles into a routine
    • A run, an hour training and time in the coven library in the morning
    • Working at the bookshop in the afternoon/early evening
    • Tony's for several hours during the evening
  • Dawn-a doesn't like being stalked and complains about Buffy at lunch every day
  • Making friends of the non-AU Scooby sort - Buffy becomes friends with Tony
  • Willow-a talks to Buffy in the bookshop
• Time - Day 12 (Friday)
  • Willow-a talks with Buffy at Tony's on a Friday night (several days after bookshop encounter)
    • About slayers and the covens
  • Buffy walks Willow home

Part VIII - Training day

• Time - Day 18 (Thursday)- morning
  • Dawn gets the day off from school and drops in on Buffy training at the Coven house
    • Buffy offers to spar with Dawn-a if Willow-a approves
• Time - Day 19 (Friday)
  • Willow agrees to check out Buffy as a potential training partner for Dawn
  • Dawn thinks there is something going on between Buffy and Willow .
    • She confronts Buffy at the bookshop
    • She then confronts Willow during their evening training session
• Time - Day 23 - (Tuesday) - morning
  • Buffy and Willow semi-spar

Part IX - Field Trip

• Time -Day 23 - (Tuesday) - morning cont.
  • The Buffy - Willow sparring doesn't work out too well so Willow suggests a field trip to some place she can watch Buffy fight.
  • A short run down to the beach.
• Time - Day 23 - (Tuesday) - evening/night
  • Dinner in Buffy's apartment
  • An evening trip to LA
    • Demon Bar I
      • Buffy and Willow are refused admittance
      • Buffy fights several demons (owners of the demon bar) when they go back to get her motorcycle
    • Bar/Club II - Demon karaoke bar
      • A demon (who seems to know them) stops by their table to say hello
    • An unnamed LA cemetary
      • Buffy kills 4 vampires
    • They head back to Sunnydale - getting back early in the AM

Part X - Who are you?

• Time - Day 24 - (Wednesday)
  • Shower scene
  • Willow does research in the evening - no sleep for the obsessive wiccan.
• Time - Day 25 - (Thursday)
  • Tara does a spell for Willow
• Time - Day 26 - (Friday)
  • Madeline gives Buffy some books
  • Buffy spends the evening at home (bubble bath)
  • Willow doesn't meet up with Buffy at the bar
• Time - Day 27 - (Saturday)
  • Buffy helps Tony out at the Food Festival
  • Willow and dawn go to the Festival
  • Willow and Buffy do not talk
• Time - Day 28 - (Sunday)
  • Early morning
    • Something happens to Dawn

Part XI - Sister Mary Sunshine

• Time - Day 28 cont. - (Sunday)
  • Buffy brings Dawn home
  • Willow and Beth and Buffy, Oh, My!

Part XII - Season Opener

• Time - Day 28 cont. - (Sunday evening)
  • Buffy gets a funny/strange feeling and checks it out
    • She finds an odd looking house/building she's never seen before
  • Buffy goes to Willow and asks her if she knows anything about the house - no luck
